Apple TV+'s satirical comedy series The Studio, starring Seth Rogen, has been renewed for a second season after its breakout debut.

Ahead of its release, Rogen appeared on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live and shared that he would love to work with Vin Diesel for the upcoming season. When Kimmel asked him about who he would like to work with next on the season, Rogen replied,

"There's a lot of actors I would love to work with, and some specifically who I think their personas are funny to explore. I think Vin Diesel would be very funny to work with. Mostly because if you think about it. He's only in those Fast and Furious movies. He's only been Dom Toretto ever and to see him outside of Dom Toretto to me would be very exciting."

However, Rogen admitted that even though he had never met Vin Diesel in his life, he would be elated to have him in the next season. Seth Rogen continued with a short message for Vin Diesel,

"If you would please consider..I don't know, maybe we can organize a Zoom or something like that."

The Studio Season 1 featured several guest stars, including Adam Scott, Kit Hoover, Antony Starr, Jean Smart, Quinta Brunson, Parker Finn, Olivia Wilde, and Ron Howard, among others. Thus, casting Vin Diesel for The Studio Season 2 would be an unexpected twist- that could take the satire to the next level.

Created by Frida Perez, Alex Gregory, Seth Rogen, Peter Hyuck, and Evan Goldberg, this series has garnered a whopping 8.1/10 stars on IMDb and 93% on Rotten Tomatoes. It features Seth Rogen as Matt Remick, who takes charge of a struggling production company, Continental Studios. However, Matt and his team face greedy executives, demanding stars, and tough choices between their ambition to create quality films and the industry's demand for corporate success.

Seth Rogen shares a hilarious real-life experience that inspired the gondola scene in The Studio Season 1

Seth Rogen wore many hats on The Studio Season 1 as the director, co-creator, actor, and writer. When Jimmy Kimmel asked if juggling all of it was tough, Rogen laughed and said,

"It was hard. It was a challenge. It was really fun. I enjoy doing a lot. It gets tricky when you are both directing and acting sometimes because as an actor you're often protected from certain conversations that the director and the other producer are having about you and when it's you, you have to participate in those conversations."

He also shared a hilarious real-life experience that inspired him to write the scene where he had given mushrooms to several people, including Brian Cranston, when he fell into a gondola in the Venetian and floated away. He told Kimmel,

"I was at a bachelor party at the Venetian, maybe 15 years ago, and one of my freinds did way too many mushrooms and we were wandering around the Venetian, late at night and I look back and the next thing I know he's in one of the gondolas just floating away. Just like a dr*gged out man on floating away on a gondola forever tattooed in my mind and one day I would bring that to life dramatically."

When Kimmel asked Rogen about being a part of the Call of Duty universe, Rogen replied,

"I'm in Call of Duty. You can now kill your freind as me. It's amazing."
