"Too devastating": The Kardashians' star Kris Jenner recalls California wildfire and its emotional impact

One of the things featured in the first episode was cast members recalling the California wildfire. While Rob and Khloé talked about her lost cats, the podcast episode release, and more, Kris Jenner also reflected on the emotional time.

The Kardashians' star Kim also talked about her grandmother and the evacuation. She noted that her mom, Kris Jenner, was in New York. Opening up to the cameras about the devastating impact of the wildfire, Kris confessed:

"So scary for everbody involved, and it's too devastating for all of those people who lost their homes, and I just pray about all of these people all the time, along with my family, and our deepest condolences to anyone who's been affected by this."

The Kardashians Season 7 Episode 1: Kris opens up about the California wildfire

Recently premiered The Kardashians Season 7 Episode 1 featured cast members recalling the devastating California wildfire. While talking to Rob, Khloé talked about the fire being contained and how much area it had already covered. He couldn't believe the stats. She responded that later, it was a controlled fire.

"But they're letting them burn. It's all controlled. It's not structures," added Khloé.

Rob recalled how the situation was intense during the wildfire.

"It's heartwrenching to watch all of Hidden Hills were evacuated," added Khloé.

Kim Kardashian also opened up about how so many people had lost everything they had. Kendall noted that everyone was on the edge, thinking, that anything could happen.

Further in the episode, The Kardashians star Kim recalled Kris Jenner's absence and where she was at the time.

"My mom was in New York. She got her face done, the day of the fires. We didn't wanna stress her out. And she was obviously out of it. But my grandma was near us. So, we all were packing her stuff, packing up all of my stuff, and then a rental. It was just insanity," confessed Kim.

Kris told the cameras that it was a scary situation for everyone involved. She confessed to praying for everyone who was affected and offered her deepest condolences.

During Rob and Khloé's conversation, she recalled the time when police were there to evacuate people. She told him about her cats, which stayed hidden in the house. So, she had to stay back to find them. The two discussed how cats could "tell" and they know when such incidents are going to occur.

"And it was crazy. So, me and security, had to like, look around the house and find them. I literally lifted like three mattresses," added Khloé.

The two talked about Khloé's podcast after Rob asked if it aired on the night of the fire. Khloé mentioned that they were in the top 5 rankings.
