The Tracker Season 3 mid-season finale left Colter and Keaton's fates hanging in the balance

The Tracker Season 3 mid-season finale concluded on a classic cliffhanger, where both Colter and Keaton's fates were hanging by a thread. The episode saw Colter search for Keaton's former partner, Nat Dobbs, who was likely involved with an Armenian crime boss, Zhan. The crime mogul was using a local dairy farmer's barn as a dumping ground for dead bodies. Both Keaton and Colter also discovered that a contract killer named Emile Lang was also involved with the case.

The episode took a deadly turn when Keaton and Colter discovered Nat in a dire condition, who died moments after confirming that Lang killed the dairy farmer. The final moments saw an intense chase between Colter & Keaton and Lang. However, the killer escaped after shooting Keaton. Just when Colter was headed to the hospital with Keaton, our rewardist was also shot from the windshield, with his car going off the rails.

What can you expect from Tracker Season 3 Episode 10?

The winter premiere of Tracker Season 3 will continue Keaton and Colter's case, after the recently released deadly Part 1. While the official plot details are not confirmed yet, showrunner Elwood Reid confirmed that our protagonist will make it out alive after Episode 9.

In an interview with TV Line, Reid confirmed Colter's fate. While our rewardist will make it out alive, he will become a wanted man because of his involvement and presence on the crime scene:

''When we pick up in Part 2, he's [Colter] in really bad shape. He's the only one who crawls out of that car, and then he's got bigger problems. Without giving too much away, he becomes a wanted man because he's been at the scenes of these crimes, and people start wondering if he's in cahoots with the killer. There's another plot that helps explain that, but the short answer is yes — he needs help.''

While Colter will survive his gunshot wounds, the same cannot be said about Keaton, who was already coughing up blood, even before the car went off the rails. Since Reid was tight-lipped about Keaton's fate, the retired cop might bid farewell to fans in Tracker Season 3 Episode 10.

The winter premiere will conclude this deadly two-parter. Fans can expect a high-stakes and intense case that will test Colter's true limits as a skilled survivalist.

Catch Tracker Season 3 Episode 10 on CBS on March 1.
