A quick recap of Tracker Season 3 Episode 3

In Tracker Season 3 Episode 3 titled First Fire, Colter was partnered up with Detective Dundee to find an escaped convict named Heston from a Psychiatric Detention Center on Halloween night. Heston had also murdered a nurse and his parents were convinced that he would try to harm Emily, a woman he was obsessed with.

However, the case took a spooky turn when Colter and Dundee learned that Heston had not escaped but had been abducted by the nun Carlotta. She believed that Heston was innocent and was possessed by a demon. Additionally, she had also abducted Emily and planned on doing a ritual by burning both Heston and Emily alive and freeing the former's soul from the demon. Thanks to Colter's quick thinking, he reached Sister Carlotta before the ritual. While he managed to rescue Emily in time, Heston sacrificed himself and was burned down with Sister Carlotta.

Elsewhere, Reenie hired a woman named Mel to replace Velma. After Mel revealed that she is against bureaucracy because her mother was killed and her killer was never found, Reenie made an instant decision and hired Mel on the spot.

The official synopsis for No Man's Land reads as follows:

When a man disappears in a lawless Arizona desert town, Colter's investigation uncovers a hidden relationship that draws him into a dangerous power struggle—and leaves him facing the hard conditions of the wilderness.

It looks like Tracker Season 3 will feature a classic Colter Shaw case in the upcoming episode. The preview suggests that Tracker will 'get wild' in Episode 4 as Colter's search for a man will take him to the Arizona Wilderness.

While Colter has learned to work with people, he is essentially a lone wolf, and the upcoming entry will test his instincts and survival skills once again. The preview also teases Colter riding a horse and fending for himself in the desolate wilderness, suggesting a rough case for our tracker. Fans can expect a high-stakes, intense, and action-filled case for Colter Shaw.

Tune in to Episode 4 on CBS on November 9.
