In fact, Holt turned out to be Colter's ally and helped him get to Trey's clinic. Thanks to the security footage, Colter and Holt see Trey being kidnapped in a car registered to Jimmy Ferris.Colter discovers that Jimmy's mother was a casualty in a shootout orchestrated by Alonzo Diaz (a Texan drug lord). Since Trey was working as a vet on Diaz's horses, Jimmy had kidnapped Trey to get to Diaz and avenge his mother's death. In the final shootout, Colter takes down Diaz and his men and saves Jimmy and Trey.
