Episode 2 is chock-full of tension, as the betrayals and blackmail place Dwight at his wits’ end and the safety of his men in danger. Paramount+ had total confidence in the series, ordering a fourth installment of Tulsa King even ahead of Season 3's release. Tulsa King Season 3 is expected to bring one of Dwight's most challenging and most intense fights so far.

What is Tulsa King about?

Tulsa King is a crime drama series created by Taylor Sheridan, mastermind behind such hits as Yellowstone and Landman. Sylvester Stallone plays the series lead, Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a New York crime boss looking to rebuild his criminal empire in central Tulsa, Oklahoma.

With elements of action-packed mob scenes, sarcasm-infused wit, and modern crime drama, Tulsa King became an overnight flagship series for Paramount+, topping streaming charts in the United States and worldwide.

In Season 2, Dwight fought against fluctuating allegiances and backstabbing to protect his region, culminating in a suspenseful kidnapping that foreshadows the events of Tulsa King Season 3. The new season starts off with Dwight under captive control, at the hands of a secret group. His danger escalates further when he encounters threats from both the Dunmire family and the Renzetti crime syndicate.

The series features some familiar names, including Martin Starr, Jay Will, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, and Frank Grillo, and some newer names, such as Beau Knapp, Bella Heathcote, James Russo, and Kevin Pollak.

True to Taylor Sheridan’s form, Tulsa King Season 3 serves up complicated characters and increasing tension. Its narrative delves not only into Dwight's war for power, but also into loyalty, survival, and collision with rich old families with a taste for war. Dwight’s conflicted relationship with Margaret Devereaux (Dana Delany) figures into his course of action, as well.

Off-screen, production is ongoing under the auspices of Sheridan, Stallone, and showrunner Dave Erickson, and behind the series’ sweeping vision stands 101 Studios and Paramount Television Studios.
