"Two of you gotta get together": SNL's Brandi Carlile joins Bowen Yang, Sarah Sherman, and Jack Black for a hilarious musical sketch

SNL Season 51 Episode 4 aired on November 1, 2025, featuring Miles Teller as the host, while Brandi Carlile joined as the musical guest.

Throughout the episode, fans witnessed multiple sketch artists delivering hilarious performances. Both Brandi and Miles were also a part of these, including musical segments.

One of the musical performances on SNL's latest episode featured Brandi Carlile, Bowen Yang, Sarah Sherman, and Jack Black. While Jack sang about needing a fourth person, soon, Brandi joined him, Bowen, and Sarah on stage.

While joining the three, who were hanging on the stage, Brandi also flew across and sang her part:

"All you need is to love each other down. All you need is to let your love fire burn. The two of you gotta get together, and hold each other close and always remember, to take turns."

SNL Season 51 Episode 4: Brandi Carlile in a funny musical sketch with Jack Black, Bowen Yang, and Sarah Sherman

The latest Saturday Night Live Season 51 Episode 4 featured Brandi Carlile as a musical guest. One of the performances saw Jack Black, Bowen Yang, and Sarah Sherman, later joined by Brandi Carlile.

It started with Bowen on stage, hanging on by the ropes. Soon, Jack Black and Sarah Sherman joined him. As they entered the song, Jack sang that it was not his fault:

"It's not your fault everything'll be dandy if we bring in a fourth, and a fourth is Brandi," sang Jack.

Soon, Brandi flew in with her guitar. Sarah asked her to give them her wisdom. The lyrics she sang were about how both Jack and Sarah needed to love each other, and that's how they'd be able to keep their fire burning.

Brandi also sang that the two of them "gotta get together," and hold each other close. When she noted that both of them should hold each other and take turns, Saturday Night Live's Bowen Yang yelled.

"Haha! Take turns! Brandi, they don't do that ya lesbun."

Listening to him, everyone laughed, while Brandi noted that she tried.

For the fans who don't know, this was Brandi Carlile's latest appearance on SNL. However, there have been many previous appearances throughout which she delivered amazing performances.
