Watson Season 2 Episode 5: Release date news, streaming details and more

In the previous episode of Watson Season 2, John and his team had to deal with a fungal infection outbreak, which deeply impacted Shinwell, who blamed himself for his delayed action to solve the problem. Next week, the team will take on another new and complicated case.

Episode 5 of Watson Season 2 will premiere on November 10, 2025. The episode will air at 10 p.m. ET on CBS. It will later be available for streaming on Paramount+ the following day.

Watson Season 2 Episode 5: Release date news and streaming details

Episode 5, titled Lucky of Watson Season 2 will premiere next Monday on November 10, 2025. It will air on the CBS Network at 10 p.m. ET and 7 p.m. PT. Apart from the network channel, the episode can also be watched on Paramount+.

To watch it on the streaming platform, you can subscribe to the Essential plan at $7.99 a month, where the episode will be available on November 11, 2025. The ad-free Premium Plan of Paramount+, which costs $12.99 a month, will provide the episode on the same day of the premiere with its on-demand Live service.

What happened in Watson Season 2 Episode 4?

In Episode 4 of Season 2, a tornado resulted in an overcrowded hospital. While treating the patients, Shinwell noticed something strange. He saw that some of the patients' cuts had turned black and were oozing pus. After his superior refused to check on the matter, he went to John, who, after looking at the pictures, declared that they might be dealing with a bacterial outbreak and shut down the hospital.

As the team investigated, they learned that the tornado released some kind of spores into the area, causing the fungal infection outbreak. Out of the four patients, Shinwell became closer to a young boy who was about to lose his leg, which would hamper his future as he had received basketball scholarships from several colleges. This resulted in him blaming himself as he did not take the necessary actions on time.

Another patient named Frankie was in a more critical situation due to contracting an animal spore as well as suffering from the fungal infection. The team found out how she came in contact with the animal spore and began the treatment.

Elsewhere, Adam was dealing with a tense situation after finding out about his partner's pregnancy, which made him realise that he might not want to have kids. On the other hand, the storm brought back happy memories that John had spent with Mary, which resulted in him realising he was not ready for a relationship with Laila.

What to expect from Watson Season 2 Episode 5?

In Episode 5 of Season 2, John will encounter another intriguing case about a coma patient in some other hospital who might not actually be in a coma and suffering from a rare condition.

Furthermore, the episode will also see the return of Sherlock Holmes, which will make the episode more chaotic as John will have to deal with him as well as solve the strange medical case in the next episode.
