Netflix has published the runtimes for the first four episodes of Wednesday Season 2, Part 1 via their official X account. These episodes will be broadcast on August 6, 2025, with the final four episodes of the season set to air on September 3, 2025. Each episode lasts around an hour, allowing viewers to delve further into the dark and intriguing world of Nevermore Academy.

The episode lengths are as follows:

  • Here We Woe Again – 60 minutes
  • The Devil You Woe – 61 minutes
  • Call of the Woe – 59 minutes
  • If These Woes Could Talk – 60 minutes

This particular release schedule breaks the season into two halves. This keeps fans interested for a longer period of time. The split also allows for a focused buildup of suspense and story. This makes it perfect for binge-watching or appreciating each episode individually.

Season 2 follows Wednesday Addams, who returns to Nevermore Academy expecting familiar surroundings and some control. She quickly realizes, however, that nothing is as predictable as she had thought.

This season delves further into Wednesday's family history. This is done by expanding the Addams clan's on-screen presence and presenting new supernatural puzzles related to her lineage.

Fans were given an exclusive preview of the first episode during the recent Netflix Tudum 2025 event. It appeared on Wednesday when she was on summer vacation. At that time, she was hunting for the Kansas City Scalper, a serial murderer.

Her challenges with her psychic abilities, which appear erratic and produce strange effects like black tears, were also disclosed in the teaser. This component is anticipated to be crucial to the season and give Wednesday's character more nuance.

Wednesday, played by Jenna Ortega, is back with the same witty banter and deadpan charm that viewers loved in the first season. Isaac Ordonez plays Pugsley Addams, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán play Morticia and Gomez Addams, and Emma Myers plays Enid Sinclair.

Although their precise roles are unknown, newcomers Lady Gaga, Christopher Lloyd, Billie Piper, and Noah B. Taylor are also included in the upcoming season.
