Netflix's supernatural mystery series, Wednesday Season 2, starring Jenna Ortega, wrapped up on September 3, 2025, leaving fans buzzing with theories and questions. The finale left the viewers with several cliffhangers, and now that Wednesday Season 3 is confirmed, expect more secrets and mysteries to unravel in the upcoming installment.
Among other plots, one major thread likely to drive the storyline in Wednesday Season 3 is that of Enid's disappearance in the wild and Wednesday's attempt to find her.
Portrayed by Emma Myers, Enid Sinclair is a pivotal character of the series. She was introduced in Season 1 as Wednesday's roommate who gradually became her closest friend in Nevermore Academy (even though Wednesday and Enid's personalities are poles apart). Her evolution from struggling to transform into a werewolf in Season 1 to discovering that she's an alpha werewolf in Wednesday Season 2 is a fascinating character arc. However, with power comes responsibility and sometimes life-altering consequences, and that is exactly what happened to Enid Sinclair in Season 2.
In the finale episode of Wednesday Season 2, while trying to rescue Wednesday from the grave, Enid had to transform into a werewolf to dig faster and save her best friend. Thus, Enid made the ultimate sacrifice to save Wednesday since wolfing out on a full moon night meant that she would be stuck permanently in her alpha werewolf form.

What happened to Enid Sinclair in Wednesday Season 2?
Enid's storyline in Wednesday Season 2 is that of self-discovery, loyalty, courage, and sacrifice. Even though Agnes DeMiller's obsession with Wednesday in the first few episodes left her insecure, their iconic dance at the gala night left everyone speechless. A clear sign that they have resolved their past issues, and it was a heartfelt moment to see them cheer each other up during their lowest moments. While Enid was sad due to her breakup with Bruno, who was apparently cheating on her, Agnes broke down because her idol, Wednesday, took her for granted and criticized her. However, this led to the character's self-discovery, which was quite refreshing to watch.
What left the viewers speechless was Enid's ultimate sacrifice for Wednesday in the season finale. In a desperate attempt to rescue Puglsey from Francoise, Issac and Tyler, Wednesday was trapped, and they buried her in the grave under the skull tree. Agnes witnessed the entire thing and rushed to Enid to ask for her help. Enid, who was peacefully resting behind the bars (not to trigger her alpha wolf self during the full moon night), rushed to the site to save Wednesday. When she failed to dig the grave with the claws, she wolfed out right under the full moon. Agnes alerted Enid that she won't be able to turn back into a human if she wolfed out during the full moon night, but Enid made the sacrifice to save Wednesday. She quickly rescued Wednesday, and they shared a look before Enid disappeared in the wild.
Wednesday asked Agnes to track down Enid while she proceeded to rescue Puglsey. In the end, Agnes informed Wednesday that the wildlife cameras had captured a snap of Enid and that she was heading north towards the Canadian border.
Wednesday wasted no time, and she, along with Thing and Uncle Fester, set out on a journey to track Enid.
