Tulsa King Season 3 Blood and Bourbon does not waste any time and kicks the plot forward in a big way. The third season introduced us to the brutal liquor magnate Jeremiah Dunmire (Robert Patrick), the villain who is replacing Neal McDonough's Cal Thresher. Jeremiah quickly replaces Cal by killing off one of Dwight's newest allies, Theo Montague.

The episode introduces Cleo and Theo Montague, a family that owns a distillery that Jeremiah is interested in purchasing. However, at the end of the episode, Theo informs Jeremiah that he has changed his mind about selling his distillery to the liquor baron. Thus, Dunmire orders his son Cole to kill Theo and burn down the latter's mansion. This moment sets up Dwight's challenges in the upcoming episodes of Tulsa King Season 3.

Who is Tulsa King Season 3's Theo Montague?

The third season introduces several new characters, and amongst them are Cleo and her father, Theo Montague. The previous season ended with Dwight entering the liquor sector. Now, it seems that Tulsa King Season 3 is going to follow Dwight's attempts to establish himself in the liquor business, and Jeremiah seems to be the biggest thorn in his side.

Thus, the third season begins with Dwight meeting one of the distillery owners in the area, Theo. In the initial meeting, the Montague patriarch is a bit hesitant in making a deal with Dwight because the former already had an informal but verbal agreement with Jeremiah. It seems that Dunmire is aware of this meeting because he has placed Cole as a mole. However, towards the last act of the episode, things turn around in favor of Dwight.

Theo's deal with Dwight earns him Jeremiah's wrath:

It seems that Jeremiah and Theo's deal would benefit only the Dunmires, and it will bleed the Montagues dry. This deal is something the Montague patriarch is not keen on, but agrees to keep his head. But the closing minutes of the episode see Dwight, Mitch, and Cleo in a conversation with Theo. In this conversation, Dwight manages to win Theo over with a talk about the latter's legacy.

After pointing out that his deal with Jeremiah will be beneficial only for the Dunmire family, Dwight makes an offer to Theo that will ensure a bright future for both the Manfredi and Montague families, winning over Theo to his side. Jeremiah learns about this deal, and he pays a visit to the Montague patriarch and asks the latter if he is going to uphold the deal he made with the Dunmires.

After learning that Theo isn't going to uphold his end of the deal, Jeremiah orders his men to rough up Theo and then burns his mansion with him inside for betraying him in the concluding minutes of the Tulsa King Season 3 premiere. These closing minutes set up a challenging conflict for Dwight as he has to confront Robert Patrick's dangerous liquor magnate character while also managing to stay in the FBI's good graces.
