Showtime's South Side crime drama series The Chi added a bunch of new cast members in Season 7, including Kyla Pratt.
American actress Kyla Pratt is best known for her characters in The Proud Family, One on One, Recovery Road, Call Me Kat, and The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder. She will make her debut as Angie, Hannibal's wife, in Season 7 Episode 9, Last Respects.
The show's social media shared an exclusive clip of Kyla Pratt in The Chi Season 7, where her character is described as 'tough as nails.' With Nuck's collaboration with the police, he is looking for ways to trap Hannibal in his plan, but it looks like Angie will rescue her husband from harm's way.

Kyla Pratt to make her The Chi Season 7 debut as Hannibal's wife
After Alicia's vendetta against Douda and Reg's shootout with Emmett, things are changing for the worse on the South Side of Chicago in The Chi Season 7. After Reg shot Emmett, Nuck was on a brutal manhunt, and he naturally needed help with Reg's takedown.
Nuck's desperation took him to Hannibal's doorstep, where he asked for his help in return for his protection. When Nuck goes to Hannibal's house, we are introduced to his wife, Angie, played by Kyla Pratt. While Hannibal reluctantly refuses to help Nuck in locating Reg, he threatens that he could be next, hinting that he is the real mastermind in Season 7.
While the two men continue to negotiate, Nuck says:
“He’s gonna come looking for a place to stay soon, he might even wanna come stay on your couch—when he does, let him.''
When Nuck suggests that Hannibal should let Reg take shelter in his house as bait, Angie snaps back, arguing that she will not allow any danger near her house.
While the preview is short, it is enough to hint that Kyla Pratt in The Chi Season 7 will be a fierce and fearless character who will go to any lengths to protect her husband.
With Nuck's latest collaboration with Detective Toussaint, Hannibal is easily one of the easiest targets for the police, and Angie might play a bigger role in rescuing her husband from Nuck's trap. It would be interesting to see how the show will expand on her and the other new cast members in Season 7.

In addition to Kyla Pratt, The Chi Season 7 has also added three new cast members to its ensemble.
