The spin-off series, Suits LA premiered in February 2025, and the story moves from New York to Los Angeles. The series brings us Ted Black, a quick-witted and no-nonsense attorney who previously worked as a federal prosecutor in New York.
But now, he's no longer carrying out the same job as Ted kicks off with being an entertainment attorney. Interestingly, this was the very career he previously didn't respect.
As the story begins, Ted's life is turned around when his long-time business partner, Stuart Lane, turns against him. This is not only a professional betrayal, but it is also personal.
Lane's betrayal lays the groundwork for a bitter feud between two former friends turned adversaries in the same high-stakes legal arena. As the season progresses, Ted takes on new cases, and the drama will continue in the next episode.

What happened in Suits LA Episode 11: A quick recap
In Suits LA Episode 11, Ted finds himself trapped in an aggravating dilemma while attempting to secure a movie contract for Patton Oswalt, who insists on doing his stunts—something that drives up insurance risks.
Things become more complicated when Oswalt reawakens a goofy feud with another client, Brian Baumgartner, making their feud a whirlwind on-screen experience. Meanwhile, Amanda and Erica work on a more emotional case with Sierra Carson, a teenage celebrity who is accused of assaulting her father.
Sierra says he's too controlling, both in her life and with her money. The case is close to home for Amanda, who has a tough past herself. But with Erica's encouragement, Amanda assists Sierra in realizing what her father's real motives are, and the case ends on a heartwarming note.
Later in the episode, Stuart gets himself into trouble over a trivial accident involving client Yvette Nicole Brown, which jeopardizes the firm's client relationship with her. His lack of tact requires Rick and Ted to intervene.
Stuart’s sudden emotional reaction is connected to something painful he experienced during an older case from the past. At the same time, the episode takes us back to 2010 through flashbacks, where we see touching memories between Ted and his late brother Eddie. It's seen that the loss of his brother still affects Ted.
