The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is back for Season 3, and it’s dropping Sunday, September 7, 2025, at 9 PM Eastern and 6 PM Pacific on AMC. For those who don’t want to watch it on cable TV, it’ll be on AMC+ too.

This time around, Daryl and Carol are waving au revoir to France and heading to Spain. The storyline follows a new country, new oddballs, and probably more zombies. There are seven episodes lined up this season, that’s one more than last time. Fans can expect a new episode every Sunday, right up to the finale on October 19, 2025.

Meanwhile, AMC has already greenlit a fourth season with eight episodes, which is being hyped as the “longest ever” for the show.

If you’re in the U.S. and you want to catch The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3, you can tune in to AMC at 9 PM ET on Sundays. But if you want to stream it, just hop onto AMC+ - that’s AMC’s own streaming platform. You’ll need a subscription, but then you get to watch live and binge all the old episodes.

AMC+ works on pretty much everything: Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, and more. Or you can also just use their app or website.

For international audiences, there are a few options. In New Zealand, the show drops on TVNZ+ for free starting Monday, September 8, 2025. Canadians can also use AMC+, and in Australia, it will premiere on Stan. It is important to note that sometimes the new episodes drop a day after the U.S. release.

But if you’re in the UK or any other place in the world, AMC+ is unavailable. Fans usually use a VPN (NordVPN, PureVPN), connect to an American server and stream AMC+ live as it airs in the U.S. at 9:00 PM Eastern Time on Sundays.

Also, Netflix or Disney+ will not stream the new season (at least not now). AMC and AMC+ have exclusive rights to stream The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3.

Overview of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3

Season 3 of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon follows the lives of Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier as they evolve through new challenges in the post-apocalyptic world, but this time, the location shifts to Spain. The season begins as Daryl and Carol arrive in England, which is described as a ghost town, with the only person living there being a mysterious man known as Julian Chamber. Thereafter, they begin their journey to Spain after their boat is wrecked by a storm.

The Spain setting presents a complex dystopian society that is governed by a reformed royal elite called El Alcazar. This regime demands a harsh tribute system known as La Ofrenda, in which towns are required to send daughters to serve or get married to oligarchs. Such a repressive society is further augmented by several gangs, bandits, bikers, and revolutionaries, which make the environment unsafe and unstable.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 follows Daryl and Carol as they show up as total outsiders. They are lurking at first, scoping things out, but then they get dragged into a fight against power-hungry, tyrannical rulers. The new people they meet are more genuine, way easier to connect with than the villains from back in the day. It makes the storyline feel a lot more personal, and gives the writers more room to explore the characters, dig deeper, and let us see what makes them tick.

Season 3 features a new setting with tight-knit characters and grey-area decisions. The showrunners have ditched the constant wandering and zeroed in on what made the series good in the first place: friendships, brutal choices, and people just trying to survive.

The episode titles for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 are almost all in Spanish except for the first one. They’re completely leaning into the Mediterranean theme this season. Anyway, here’s the list of episode titles, plus what they mean in English:

Episode 1: "Costa da Morte" (Portuguese for "Coast of Death")

Episode 2: "La Ofrenda" ("The Offering")

Episode 3: "El Sacrificio" ("The Sacrifice")

Episode 4: "La Justicia Fronteriza" ("Border Justice")

Episode 5: "Limbo" (English title)

Episode 6: "Contrabando" ("Smuggling")

Episode 7: "Solaz del Mar" ("Solace of the Sea")

Before Season 3 even hit the screen, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon was already scoring a solid 80% on Rotten Tomatoes. Looks like the show finally figured itself out after stumbling around for a couple of seasons, and probably critics are into it too, mostly because Daryl’s character arc isn’t just wandering (for once), and the whole European setting adds some much-needed shift.
