Outlander Season 7 might have already released on Starz, but only the show’s first is available on the streaming platform Netflix as of now. Developed by Ronald D. Moore and based on the book series of the same name by Diana Gabaldon, the historical fantasy series first aired in 2014.
Starring Sam Heughan, Caitríona Balfe, and others, the show focuses on Claire Randall (Balfe), who is an English former World War II military nurse in Scotland in 1945. However, her life changes when she travels back in time to 1743 and falls in love with a Highland warrior called Jamie Fraser (Heughan), who is a tacksman of Clan Fraser of Lovat.
Outlander Season 7 has 16 episodes and the first eight were aired from June to August 2023 and the latter eight were aired from November 2024 to January 2025. However, the airing schedule of the show will differ on Netflix.

Interestingly, Outlander: Blood of my Blood, a prequel series to the Outlander show released recently on Starz. The prequel series focuses on the love stories of Jamie and Claire’s parents.
While Netflix has added all the episodes from season 1 to season 6 of the show on its platform, Outlander Season 7 will release in parts.
Therefore, Part 1 of Outlander Season 7 (from episodes 1 to 8) has been released on Netflix from August 11, 2025. On the other hand, however, Part 2 (from episodes 9 to 16), will likely be available on the platform around January 17, 2027, according to Decider.
The gap between the two parts is quite long and even season 8 of the series will have already premiered on Starz by then as it is scheduled for early 2026. Viewers can also watch the prequel series by then as it will be releasing a weekly episode till October 10, 2025.

Interestingly, the show has three stages of rollout according to What’s on Netflix and countries like France, India, Japan, and more have already received both parts of Outlander Season 7 as they get weekly episodes.
On the other hand, countries like Australia and Canada don’t get weekly episodes and they will have to wait 11 to 12 months and get Part 2 by 2025.
