The gang was reunited in the Twisted Metal Season 2 premiere
The Twisted Metal Season 2 premiere featured a seven-month time jump, following which the ensemble cast were scattered on their respective missions. While John Doe found himself in New San Francisco, training for the upcoming tournament and longing to be reunited with Quiet on the road, his partner joined Dollface's killer marauders, who had waged a war against the city's Insiders.
Elsewhere, Sweet Tooth and Stu were on their killing spree, where they discovered that another and more dangerous killer is on the loose. While the ensemble gang was scattered, Calypso's announcement about the titular vehicular tournament brought them together, and they began training for the tournament.
While John and Quiet were finally reunited, and it looked like a second chance at their romance, he came face to face with his sister, Dollface. This sudden reunion triggered John's amnesia, and he still has difficulty piecing his past together. The premiere ends with the anticipation of an intense vehicular tournament.
