9-1-1: Lone Star has always been a fan favorite, giving us thrilling rescues and deeply charged and emotional storylines.
But after its run on FOX has now officially come to an end, fans are left wondering where to watch the beloved crime series now.
The answer to this is pretty simple: All five seasons of 9-1-1: Lone Star are now available to stream on Hulu. With Disney buying the rights, the show has finally found a new permanent streaming home.
Goodbye FOX, Hello Hulu: Where 9-1-1: Lone Star Lives Now
When FOX took the series off its site in September 2025, it became clear that 9-1-1: Lone Star had moved on to a new chapter. The removal wasn't just about expired rights. It was about the series returning to its Disney roots, since the show was always a Disney-owned production airing on FOX.
Showrunner Ryan Murphy even explained this back in October 2024 when he told Entertainment Weekly that the "financials just didn't work" because it was;
"A Disney company that was on a Fox network."
That clash only meant that FOX couldn't keep the spin-off, no matter how loyal the fanbase. Now, with Disney stepping in, Hulu has all episodes of 9-1-1: Lone Star. This includes the final season, which gave proper closure to the Austin Firehouse 126 crew.
Hulu isn't just streaming episodes either. Disney has also taken over the show's social media pages, making sure that fans will still be getting updates for the show, as well as updates about possible crossovers with the main 9-1-1 series.
How Lone Star Fits Into the Bigger 9-1-1 Universe
Even though 9-1-1: Lone Star ended with its fifth season in February 2025, the door isn't yet completely shut just yet. The show may no longer be available to watch on FOX, but the good news is that these characters still live inside the 9-1-1 universe.
Season 9 of the original 9-1-1 series will be released in October 2025, and the fun part is that there's already talk of a crossover between the two shows.
Tim Minear, who is the co-creator of the show, even hinted at the possibility of said crossover while in a conversation with Entertainment Weekly, saying;
"I think the network would love that."
This alone keeps the fans feeling hopeful. Plus, with 9-1-1: Nashville, the universe is clearly growing. Hulu being the new home for 9-1-1: Lone Star means all these shows will be available to stream on the same site, which only makes it easier for fans to rewatch older seasons as well as the different shows in the 9-1-1 universe.
9-1-1: Lone Star might have left FOX, but the good news is Hulu is now the streaming service for all 5 seasons.
