Man vs. Baby is back on Netflix and fans everywhere just cannot get enough.

One question keeps popping up: where was Man vs. Baby actually shot? The answer is simple.

The comedy was filmed mostly in London with a few key stops in Essex. But the fun part is how the show turns real streets, stations and even parks into Trevor Bingley’s chaotic playground.

Here’s a full breakdown of the places that shaped the series.

London’s buzzing heart becomes Trevor’s giant maze

One of the coolest things about Man vs. Baby is how it treats London almost like a character of its own. The show doesn’t stay boxed inside that fancy penthouse for long. Trevor keeps running across the city trying to fix one problem after another.

A bunch of scenes were shot right in Piccadilly Circus and at the underground station nearby. Anyone who has been there knows how wild that area gets, and it fits perfectly with Trevor’s constant panic mode. The team also used Trinity Square and the Tower Hill area, turning regular streets into mini film sets.

Director David Kerr even talked about the big penthouse that appears throughout the show. During a Q&A with Reach, he said in a humorous manner:

“No it isn’t, sorry. If anyone is planning to put a bid on it, it doesn’t exist. It was a set build.”

That whole gold and marble vibe? Totally created for the show. He said he hoped people would believe it was real, because that meant the design team did their job. But most of Trevor’s outdoor chaos? That’s pure London energy brought straight to your screen.

The corners of the city turn into key Man vs. Baby moments

While Man vs. Baby has the noise and colour of central London, it also dips into softer neighbourhoods that you’d miss if you rushed past them. Myatt’s Fields Park in Camberwell is one of the biggest ones.

The park has everything from a summerhouse to tennis courts and becomes a cool backdrop for some of Trevor’s sweeter moments with the baby. It’s almost funny seeing such a calm spot hold all that toddler-level stress.

The series also filmed around the St James’s area, especially along Jermyn Street. This part of London is usually super polished, so watching Trevor run around here feels like dropping a cartoon into a museum.

The show uses these quieter places to balance the madness of Piccadilly Circus. And because Man vs. Baby spends so much time following Trevor across the city, London’s mix of calm and chaos ends up matching the mood of the show perfectly.

Even the indoor scenes were shot using an actual property for some parts, just to keep things looking real enough even though the penthouse itself was completely built from scratch.

A small railway station outside London plays a surprisingly big role

Not all of Man vs. Baby stays inside London. The team travelled to Essex to film at Ongar Railway Station in Chipping Ongar. It’s a small spot, but it adds this old school charm to the show.

Trevor’s mission to find the baby’s real family takes him beyond the main city, and this station helps show that shift. It’s simple and looks totally different from the central London scenes, which gives the show a fun little contrast.

Rowan Atkinson even talked about the craziness of filming with babies while moving between these locations. He told journalists that they used twin babies in every scene because of the time limit for child actors. He shared:

“If one gets grizzly you can bring the other one in...”

He also explained how CGI was used for crawling scenes because the babies weren’t at the crawling stage yet. All this went on while he was filming almost every single day without breaks, which makes the polished final product even more impressive.

Man vs. Baby might be a wild comedy, but its filming locations ground the chaos in real places. From the bright rush of Piccadilly Circus to quiet parks in Camberwell to a tiny Essex station, the show jumps across England in ways that make Trevor’s journey feel bigger and funnier.

These locations don’t just hold the story together. They give it personality, texture and a whole lot of charm.
