The Boys Season 5 is not only anticipated for being the last installment of the hit Prime Video satirical drama, but also for featuring a Supernatural reunion. It was earlier confirmed that Jensen Ackles, who plays Soldier Boy in the show, will reunite with his Supernatural co-stars Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins in the final season.
Jared Padalecki has now divulged some exciting details about the reunion, revealing in which episode of the season the event will take place. During an appearance at the Fan Expo Boston, the actor confirmed that he will share screen space with Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins in The Boys Season 5 Episode 5.
Padalecki further hinted that the makers are planning to split the final season into two parts, comprising four episodes each. He stated:
“It’s Episode 5 of Season 5. I think they’re putting out the first four episodes and then a little bit of time, and then the final four episodes. And for those who are not yet 18, do not watch it.”

The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke is also the creator of Supernatural, which starred Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki as brothers Dean Winchester and Sam Winchester, respectively. Misha Collins was seen in multiple seasons of The CW series, playing an angel named Castiel.
When production of The Boys Season 5 began earlier this year, the trio confirmed their appearances in the show. While Ackles is already an integral part of the series, playing the role of the superhero Soldier Boy, Padalecki and Collins have been cast in undisclosed roles.
Kripke later announced that the three actors will be seen in the same frame in the final season and will also interact with each other. Padalecki has now confirmed that the scene will appear in The Boys Season 5 Episode 5. Without revealing too many details, Padalecki stated that his character in the series is going to be very excited to meet Soldier Boy.
Meanwhile, Ackles talked about working with his Supernatural co-stars again during his recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The Countdown actor joked that there were concerns about the three being on the set together as they are way too comfortable with each other:
“It was funny, because there was a little, like, concern that - you know, we're gonna get Jared and Misha and Jensen together, and it's gonna be a little wacky. Because 15 years together... we got a little off.”
He added,
“There's a lot of history, but it was also a house that we built, and we were able to destroy it the way we wanted to. So I had to kind of remind them, I was like, 'Hey, guys, this isn't our house, okay? Jared, you've got to flush the toilet. It was a really good time. I can't wait to be able to say more.”
