The popular 1960s sitcom, Leave it to Beaver, saw many guests starring on the show, but one of the most prominent guests to have starred is political talk show host and American actor, Barry Gordon. The actor appeared in the show when he was a child, playing the role of young Chopper Cooper, who was friends with the titular character, Beaver, from camp.
Gordon's character appears on the show when he comes to stay with the Cleaver family as a house guest.
While Barry Gordon was a child when he appeared on Leave it to Beaver, he grew on to become a very successful actor, having voiced many popular characters alongside playing roles in many movies and shows.

Barry Gordon started his acting career when he was just 3 years old, first appearing in Ted Mack's Amateur Hour singing Johnnie Ray's "Cry," for which he won second place. After his role in Leave it to Beaver, Barry Gordon also went on to perform in many different movies and shows, and has won several awards.
As an adult, Barry Gordon is best known for the role he played in the last two seasons of the sitcom Archie Bunker's Place, where he played the recurring role of Gary Rabinowitz, Archie's Jewish attorney and the love interest of Denise Miller's Barbara Lee "Billie" Bunker. He also appeared in the Star Trek series, playing the role of a Ferengi businessman on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and an alien publisher on Star Trek: Voyager by the name of Ardon Broht.
He has even done some prominent work as a voice actor, best known for voicing the original characters of Donatello and Bebop in three seasons of Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Aside from that, it was also announced in 2022 that he would reprise his role as the voice of Donatello in the video game, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge. This would be the first time he voiced the character in a video game, and the first time he voiced a character in any video game.
