Paramount+'s Tulsa King has become one of the global hits of the streaming platform. The show follows the story of Dwight Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone), who, after completing his prison sentence, is sent to Tulsa by his boss. There, he creates his own Crime family, the Manfredi crime family.

Corbin has appeared in a total of 6 episodes of Season 1. He did not appear in Season 2 and was also not included in the ensemble of Season 3 of Tulsa King, which premieres on September 21, 2025.

Born on October 16, 1940, in Texas, the Hollywood actor began his acting journey in the 1960s. While he started as a Shakespearean actor, he is now more known for his roles in various Western dramas and films. His television roles include superhit shows such as M*A*S*H, Murder, She Wrote, the original Matlock, and Columbo, among numerous others.

He became popular after appearing as basketball coach, Coach Whitey Durham, in the popular teen drama of the early 2000s, One Tree Hill. He has also appeared in sitcoms such as Modern Family and Young Sheldon. Furthermore, Barry Corbin was also one of the highlights of the sitcom Anger Management, where he appeared as Ed.

He gives the popular speech to Ed when he tells him about planning to retire from his Sheriff's job. With the help of narrating the story about his uncle who died after being shot at on his front porch, Ellis tells Ed that he cannot avoid what was coming and what will happen to him in the future.
