Will Arnett has been acting professionally for more than three decades. The 55-year-old actor has multiple accolades to his name, including several Emmy nominations. He was already a big name in the industry before starring in The Morning Show.

Arnett trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and made his television debut by hosting an award show in 1994. Two years later, he was seen in the films Close Up and Ed's Next Move. This kick-started his career, and he went on to appear in numerous films, including Southie, The Broken Giant, and The Acting Class.

Some of his recent movie credits include playing Alex Magnussen in Next Goal Wins, Det. Frank Nicholas in Show Dogs, and Alex in Is This Thing On? Meanwhile, early in his career, he made episodic appearances in shows like Sex and the City, The Sopranos, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

In 2003, he shot to wide fame and acclaim for playing Gob Bluth in the Fox sitcom Arrested Development. The role earned him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. The show originally aired for three seasons but was later rebooted by Netflix for two more seasons, in which Arnett returned to reprise his role.

The actor also starred as Chris in Up All Night, Brent Wilts in The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret, Steve Wilde in Running Wilde, and Devon Banks in 30 Rock. He is an accomplished voice actor as well, widely known for playing the titular role in the adult animated series BoJack Horseman.

Along with lending his voice to the character, Arnett also served as an executive producer on the project. The show aired on Netflix between 2014 and 2020, and is counted among the greatest television series of all time.

In 2021, Arnett landed the role of Doug in The Morning Show Season 2, and continued to appear in Seasons 3 and 4. Doug is Alexandra "Alex" Levy’s agent, who plays an important role in her career.
