Logan Lerman stars as Jay Pflug in Only Murders in the Building Season 5. He is a 33-year-old American actor who hails from Beverly Hills, California. Lerman has been working in the film and TV industry ever since he was a child. After making his professional debut with commercials, he appeared on the big screen in 2000 with the historical drama film The Patriot.

He then appeared in movies like What Women Want, The Butterfly Effect, The Number 23, 3:10 to Yuma, and My One and Only. In 2010, he received wide fame and acclaim by playing the titular role in Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. The role earned him several accolades, including nominations at the MTV Movie Awards, Saturn Awards, and Teen Choice Awards.

Lerman talked about joining the Hulu series in an interview with People Magazine in July 2025. The actor said that it is fun to be on the sets of the series, and he had a really good time playing Jay:

“It's an oddly fun set to be on. Sometimes, sets are not that enjoyable. [But Only Murders is] a really good one. It's so great. That's a really fun show to work on. I had a really good time. I don't want to ruin anything, but I'm excited for people to see it.”
