James Russo plays the character of Quiet Ray in Tulsa King Season 3
Tulsa King Season 3 has added another veteran actor to its cast. American film and television actor James Russo, who has worked on over 150 projects in his decades-spanning career, will appear as Quiet Ray in the thriller crime series.
Born in New York, James Russo worked as a cab driver, construction worker, and gravedigger before his big break in acting. During his graduation days at NYU, he wrote and acted in the prize-winning short film The Candy Store, which launched his career in Hollywood.
Russo's first acting role came in the 1981 television film Chicago Story, which launched his career. The actor went on to appear in many movies in the 80s, including Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Beverly Hills Cop, Once Upon a Time in America, and Extremities.
His first foray into acting was successful in the 80s, which essentially paved the way for his success in the 90s. Some of his projects during that time period include State of Grace, My Own Private Idaho, Bad Girls and Public Enemies. Additionally, the Tulsa King Season 3 star appeared in Abel Ferrara's Dangerous Game alongside Madonna and Harvey Keitel, The Postman alongside Kevin Costner, and Donnie Brasco alongside Al Pacino and Mike Newell.
James Russo is also known for his guest appearances in TV shows like The Equalizer, Miami Vice, Chicago Fire, Hawaii Five-0, Friday the 13th: The Series, Las Vegas, and The Deuce.
Recently, he also collaborated with Costner on his passion project, Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1. Russo played the character of Abel Naughton in Costner's epic Western film.
Who is James Russo's Quiet Ray in Tulsa King Season 3?

James Russo's Quiet Ray is one of Dwight Manfredi's newest enemies in Tulsa King Season 3. After Dwight's efforts to go all legal were realized in Season 2, he will face new adversaries in Season 3, who will make it hard for him to stay clean in business.
According to his character description, it is suggested that Quiet Ray Renzetti was once Dwight's good friend and had more power than the Invernizzi family. However, since Dwight became a threat to their interests, the Renzettis will send Dwight's old prison friend, Russell Lee Washington Jr., to kill him. Since James Russo's Quiet Ray is listed as a guest character in Tulsa King Season 3, it is not confirmed if Ray will play a bigger part in the series.
It seems like the Renzettis are a setup to introduce Jackson's character ahead of his NOLA King spin-off. James Russo's involvement in the project as Quiet Ray suggests that he will surely make the new season even more deadly for our protagonist.
Tulsa King Season 3 will release weekly episodes every Sunday on Paramount+.
