Who plays Spencer in Tulsa King? Character arc explored in detail

Taylor Sheridan’s Tulsa King, after its release in 2022, has topped numerous charts and become the top show on Paramount+. It narrates the story of the mafia, Dwight ‘The General’ Manfredi, played by Sylvester Stallone, as he tries to build up his own empire in Tulsa from scratch.

However, the popular Hollywood actor isn’t the actor from the Stallone family who stars in the crime drama. His youngest daughter, Scarlet Rose Stallone, also appears in a recurring role in Tulsa King. She played a barista who often ended up meeting Dwight and was later hired by him to take care of his horse, Pilot.

This new storyline made her a member of Dwight’s extended family in Tulsa and also drew her into Dwight’s criminal lifestyle.

Who plays Spencer in Tulsa King? Character arc explored

As mentioned, Stallone’s daughter Scarlet Rose plays the character of Spencer. Her first appearance is in episode 2 of Tulsa King Season 1 as a barista. As Dwight is taken aback by the wilderness after noticing a horse in the open, since he lived in New York and later in prison, Scarlet’s character, Spencer, informs him about the horse, who is named Pilot.

She tells him that Pilot is a free-spirited horse and can be found wandering around the whole town. Throughout Season 1 of Tulsa King, Dwight gets to meet Spencer a couple of times, but the major moment between the characters happens in Episode 6, where Spencer informs Dwight that Pilot will be euthanized in the coming days due to his old age.

She also tells him about leaving her job as a barista. Dwight then allows her to work for him. He tells her that he has bought Pilot and wants her to take care of the horse for him. Spencer could not reject the opportunity and quickly agreed to it. With this, she also becomes a part of Dwight’s connections in Tulsa.

Scarlet also appeared in Season 2 and has found herself entangled in the dangerous situations in Dwight’s line of work. While her character is minor in the series, she is still part of the steady storyline of Dwight’s family.

As we have seen, Dwight has legitimized his business and is en route to expand it further, resulting in characters like Bodhi and Spencer’s arcs also expanding. However, it will further result in more enemies for Dwight and his crew, adding to the action and thrill of Tulsa King Season 3.

Besides Sylvester Stallone and Scarlet Rose Stallone, Tulsa King Season 3 will also star Martin Starr and Garrett Hedlund, among others.
