Paramount+ Premium's crime drama series, Dexter: Resurrection, starring Michael C. Hall, premiered on July 11, 2025. A sequel to Dexter: New Blood, the latest series features the aftermath of the gripping finale, where we saw how Dexter was shot by his son, Harrison. After ten weeks, Dexter Morgan wakes from a coma and escapes to find his son, Harrison, in New York City. What's more interesting is that even though he's focused on making things right with his son, he gets plunged into the dark world once again. On one hand, there's Angel Batista, who is on a mission to track him for the Bay Harbor Butcher murders, and on the other is Leon Prater, a billionaire who runs a society of serial killers.

What happened to the Gemini killer in Dexter: Resurrection?
After killing Lowell and getting Mia arrested, Dexter turned his attention to Gareth, aka the Gemini Killer. Dexter was already not a fan of Gareth's attitude, and so began the chase. It was easy to lure Gareth to Dexter's house. Dexter spiked his drink with M99 and killed him in his usual style.
However, the twist came the next day when he saw Gareth walking out of a car. It is here that both the audience and Dexter realise that behind the Gemini Killer were the Gareth Twins.
In the garden, the two sat, and as they began their conversation, Gareth denied having a brother. Dexter revealed that he had killed his twin the previous night. This triggered Gareth. Gareth attacked Dexter with a glass; however, Dexter killed him in the end.
