Netflix's thriller K-drama, The Price of Confession, is the latest addition to Netflix's thriller K-drama list. The K-drama follows the story of Yoon-soo, a school teacher who is accused of murdering her husband and sent to prison. There, she meets the mysterious prisoner named Mo-eun, who is also called 'the witch' for her psychopathic tendencies.Mo-eun makes a deal with her in exchange for giving Yoon-soo her freedom, which takes the story in a complex direction. With an intriguing narrative, The Price of Confession also boasts a stellar ensemble cast that includes popular South Korean actors. One of them is Kim Go-eun, who plays Mo-eun/Witch. After the death, Yoon-soo is sent to jail for killing him. However, she did not confess and was then helped by Mo-eun, the mysterious new prisoner.Mo-eun asks Yoon-soo to make a deal with her. She tells her that she would confess to killing her husband, which would get her out of prison, but also asks for a shocking favour from Yoon-soo: to commit murder. As Baek Dong-hun tries to prove that Yoon-soo is the real killer, Mo-eun creates the perfect plan to make everyone believe that she killed Ki-dae.The character of Mo-eun was terrifying and intriguing at the same time, and Kim Go-eun played it perfectly, showcasing her versatility as an actor. With a career spanning more than a decade, Go-eun has appeared in numerous popular K-dramas and movies. Her most popular role was that of Ji Eun-tak in the renowned K-drama, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God. Eun-tak was a high school student and also the bride of the immortal goblin, played by Gong Yoo.Eun-tak had a tragic life but was still a cheerful person, a contrast to Mo-eun in The Price of Confession.
