Things got complicated between the four as Evie felt attracted to Danny, and soon learned that Becka and Danny had an open marriage. This started a chain of events full of secrets, betrayal, and heartbreak. The season starred Eleanor Tomlinson as Evie, Jessica De Gouw as Becka, Alfred Enoch as Pete, and Sam Heughan as Danny.

The second season then revolved around Jacob and Charlotte, a seemingly stable couple who worked at the local hospital. Their life changed when a mysterious nurse with a troubled past named Mia entered their world. As Jacob and Charlotte were intrigued by Mia’s free-spirited personality, their relationship started to crumble. The season starred Annabel Scholey as Charlotte, Sam Palladio as Jacob, and Aggy K. Adams as Mia.
