“Working on a third season”: Hotel Costiera cast jokingly hints at Potential Season 2 and beyond

Hotel Costiera is an Italian action-drama series on Prime Video, set in the picturesque land of Positano, Italy.

The show is centred on Daniel De Luca, a fixer at a luxury hotel who is tasked with locating the missing daughter of the hotel owner, Alice. Season 1 ends with him rescuing Alice successfully, therefore resolving the main conflict.

However, despite being announced as a miniseries, there are several conversations happening around the possibility of season 2. This speculation got some basis when the 2 cast members of Hotel Costiera also expressed interest in working on the new season if it happens.

According to a report by Hall of Series, Pierpaolo Spollo, who plays Bruno, and Antonio Gererdi, who plays Bigne, expressed their willingness to return to the show if a new season were to happen.

Spollon "hinted at his desire to participate in a second season, while Gerardi joked he was "working on a third season as well," the report states.

However, Prime Video must make a decision on the show's renewal based on its viewership and popularity. Production head Luca Bernabei suggested that the show is light-hearted and entertaining, which could allow its renewal with a returning story.

Season 1 also stars Jordan Alexandra as Genny, Maria Chiara Giannetta as Adele, and Tommaso Ragno as Augusto, giving the series a strong ensemble alongside Williams. The show was released in the US on September 24, 2025, and has drawn comparisons to Reacher for its mix of action, mystery, and procedural elements.
