Yellowstone concluded after five seasons, but Taylor Sheridan fans have no reason to worry. A number of spin-offs of the neo-western drama are in progress. One of the favorite couples from the show, Beth and Rip, is set to get a spin-off of their own, and while the project is still officially untitled, it might be called Yellowstone: Dutton Ranch.

The Q1 2025 earnings call of Paramount Global hinted at the possible release date of the spin-off, mentioning that they are aiming for a Q4 2025 debut. This means the show could start airing around November, according to ScreenRant.

The spin-off will follow Beth and Rip post the events of Yellowstone

The interesting thing about Beth and Rip’s spin-off is that the show will reportedly pick up right where the Yellowstone story ended. The finale of Yellowstone saw Beth and Rip build a new life for themselves, which also appeared more peaceful than what they had endured throughout the course of the series.

While the spin-off is confirmed and in the works, it is now known who beyond Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser are a part of the cast. The duo, who portrayed Beth and Rip for five seasons in Yellowstone, was always interested in a story of their own and now that Shredian is finally going ahead with the project, they have naturally said yes.

Talking about her feelings regarding a spin-off within the Yellowstone universe focusing on Beth and Rip, Kelly Reilly mentioned to Collider,

“There’s a lot of rumor mill over the years, so much stuff that’s just not true that’s been written and you’re like, ‘Where has this come from?’ Until Taylor Sheridan comes to us both — he’s written every single word we’ve said for seven years — and he’s inspired to write something for us, then great. And if not, this is a beautiful ending.”

Cole Hauser also had similar sentiments. He said,

“We just finished it about a month and a half ago, and here we are in New York. So, I’m excited about seeing what the audience thinks of what Taylor’s put together. There’s some magical scenes, not just between us, but with all the characters, and everybody kind of has a moment to go through their final journey on the show. So, that’s what I’m focused on and what I care about, and then down the road, if there’s something that happens, surely I would welcome it.”

With the spin-off confirmed and a definite release date on the horizon, it now remains to be seen how Sheridan develops Beth and Rip’s beginning of a peaceful life into a new story.

Yellowstone can be streamed on Peacock.
