"You want me to be upset": Love Is Blind star Madison gets into an argument with Joe while discussing the experiment

Love Is Blind Season 9 Episode 8 featured a heated exchange between Madison and Joe. It was after they moved in together in the next phase of the experiment.

The conversation started with their discussion about seeing their family members and the excitement everyone felt.

However, when Joe asked about worries and concerns, Madison told him that she was excited. She also told him that she wanted him to feel more excited. Soon, the two got into a verbal debate.

"I want you to feel how I'm feeling. I'm f*cking excited about you. That's how I feel! I want to feel like you're f*cking excited."

She added:

"I feel I need to be a negative b*tch. You want me to be upset."

After moving in together, Madison and Joe talked about meeting each other's family members. When he asked about her family and how they might feel about him, she responded:

"Like, "Holy s*it, Madison. We're so excited for you."

The two talked recalled sharing their engagement news with their families and that they were very excited for them. Later, when she revealed that she hadn't introduced anyone before to her family, he asked if she had any reservations.

Love Is Blind star Joe also told her that Madison didn't show any scared thoughts or worry on her face.

"Do you want me to be worried?...How many times have I been like, "This is so f*cking crazy"? asked Madison.

Joe responded that she seemed "too sure" about him. However, he later added that it was "probably" a good thing. Madison mentioned that when she signed up for the experiment, she knew what she was getting into.

When Joe mentioned day-to-day lives, she said she also had some reservations. She talked about being 100% into the experiment. Joe noted that he was also 100% into it, but it was "f*cking hard." He added that he was talking about the emotional whirlpool.

Love Is Blind star told him that he was making it more negative than it was. Joe apologized for presenting it that way in front of Madison. However, he kept on repeating "it's hard," which Madison didn't like.

"The more I hear you say things, the more it gets hard, yes," she responded.

Joe told her that he wanted to hear that everything was not "sunshine" for her. Madison told him most people want optimism. Later, Joe talked about the "end of the world," and then asked Madison if she was okay. She replied that she was hurt.

"I know, but it's bothering you that I'm excited about you. That f*cking hurts me! You want me to be more f*cking upset about this ro something, and I'm not!" said Madison.

Joe told her that he wanted to be able to say something about how he felt.

"You're upset I'm not as upset about you," responded Madison.

Joe disagreed with her and told her that he was not upset at all. She replied that she wanted someone who was "doing it." She was referring to moving forward with the experiment.

When Love Is Blind star Madison said he was already expressing himself, he responded that it was taking in a "way" by her. She disagreed and told him that it was not being taken in a certain way. Joe apologized and said that he would keep everything inside.

Madison sarcastically replied that that was "really f*cking healthy." The arguments between the two continued further as they discussed their proposal and how the experiment was for "marriage-minded people."
