Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

Today, we get to re-watch the season premiere, episode two, and go back to where it all started for Leslie and her daughter Eva. Yes, the resident WMD of Fairmont Crest, Leslie Thomas, came into Garland Memorial Hospital with her friends, Mona and Jan. They all came in to wish Jan's daughter, Ashley, a happy first day as a nurse. But as we know, this was just a reconnaissance mission for Leslie, and as they were leaving and getting on the elevator, who should come strolling out? OG Ted Richardson! And Leslie got a good look at the man she has been waiting all this time to bring down upon a righteous, fiery pain. With the benefit of foresight, we also know that Mona and Jan are just friends of need. Mona has the inside track on Nicole and is the path to getting Eva a job as her assistant, but there's just one pesky wee problem: needing to remove the incumbent assistant, Laura.

We also got to see Bill approach Vernon at his house and ask for a favor and get the community to make a respectable showing at his and Hayley's wedding, Vernon is adamant that it wont happen until Bill says, “There was a time when i had done favors for this family and it’s members, and thats all im asking for.” Bill closed with, 'No matter, I just appreciate being heard.' It sounded innocuous, but seasoned fans know that Bill and Vernon are inextricably tied to a night from Martin's past, a night we are getting closer and closer to learning all about. Please, please let this week hurry up so we can get back to the storyline of the century!
