Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on Beyond the Gates

Martin has another surprise encounter with Kenny in the locker room at the club. Martin tries to act tough and tell Kenny that he has friends in places and they can make him disappear just like that, without a fingerprint. Kenny wasn’t even remotely worried and said, “If you have that kind of power, why haven't you used it already?” Good question, and that was what Martin asked Vernon. What are we going to do about this man, Granddad, and Vernon says in that deep gravelly voice he gets when he’s trying to be authoritative, “We are going to wait and see where this goes.”

So, the plan is…oh, we’re already doing the plan? Bill, being a man of action, reacts to Vernon and, after a bit of back and forth, says ok, I’ll help. He then gets on the phone and tasks someone with staying ready to take action, saying that they may need more permanent measures this time. So Bill has access to triggermen? Or, did he just get off the phone with Joey? We know he has access to friends in low places. Maybe that’s also how Joey is involved. Bill called him, and he called Marcel to ensure there is no investigation or that it gets sent southward to cold case land. The moment of the day for me, Vernon tells Martin, the plan is to wait and see. LOL. Martin is stressed here and thinking of just coming clean, and you want him to be able to trust that you have this, Vernon, and all you have got to reassure him is, WAIT AND SEE.
