Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P for May 12th

Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on Beyond the Gates

Doug just can’t help himself and yes i know thats the addict in him, but damn dude. Doug, after daydreaming of the casino, chips, cards, and cash while Shanice was talking to him, was funny. She kept asking him questions, and he kept tuning her out and focusing on poker hands. But when she asked him where his head was at, his poker face was a mess; no wonder he loses so much. Doug went to the casino and, after a brief chat, convinced his day one brother from another mother, Randy, that he wasn't going to gamble. He proceeded to, you guessed it, gamble. Doug pretended to leave, then snuck back to the table after Randy left the room, you might need to beat his ass Randy! Doug threw cash on the table and said, “Deal me in.”

Meanwhile, his wife, Vanessa, is being entertained at the bar by the shadiest of the shady, Joey Armstrong. The two talk and chit chat, and Joey’s flirt game is on point, but Vanessa decides not to take Joey up on his offer of coming back to his house and learning all the areas he is most wise in. Vanessa leaves to go home to her husband and their bed, and Joey has an intense look on his face, annoyance, and anger. Doug, look out, Joey is about to collect on that debt one way or another.
