Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P for May 14th
Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on Beyond the Gates

Martin took a call and said he would be right there. Before he could leave home, Smitty and the kids arrived with groceries. Samantha was responsible for product placement today and held a bottle of Tide laundry detergent close to her chest, prominently displayed. Job well done, Samantha. Instead of cooking, Martin suggested a pizza night. Samantha suggested they get extras as they always run out. Martin said Great idea, as you never know when they will pick up a stray, That should have been a clue right there.

Martin joined his sister Kat at Orphey Gene’s after she had just discussed how to win friends and influence people with Eva. Kat didn't want to hear anything about family and Eva being a part of it, so she just swept on out of there, a grimace plastered all over her face. After a brief convo with Eva, pizza night was on! But Eva wasn't the only surprise guest, Samantha had also invited Tyrells Gf, or not gf, Jessica over. Samantha could not have been more displeased to see Eva unless she had been paid a bonus. What started awkwardly became such a beautiful moment when Martin spoke about family being more important than anything, and Eva was a part of that. Samantha's expression changed once she discovered which bougie salon Eva would work at. We were treated to Eva making a bunch of different hair style looks for Samantha, and the grins and smiles couldn't have been bigger, all around the lounge.
