What to Expect on Beyond the Gates
'Tis the season to be jolly, but according to what Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) told Ted, Vernon has been a little too jolly. In Tuesday's episode, Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) hears something from her ex that she can't quite comprehend. To be fair, anyone hearing this revelation would be shocked and in disbelief. Nicole is stunned that Ted (Keith D. Robinson) is telling her that her father is having an affair, but when she finds out who it is with, that news will shock her just as much.
Vernon’s shook
In Tuesday's episode, Anita (Tamara Tunie)and Vernon (Clifton Davis) have a candid conversation that leaves them both rocked. Anita delivers the bombshell news about her husband, a revelation she has been struggling to process. Diagnosed with triple-negative cancer, Anita tells Vernon and makes it known that she wants to see her children, their grandchildren, and their grandchildren’s children. This cannot be the beginning of the end for Anita Williams Dupree.
Will this change her plans?
In Tuesday's episode, Hayley (Marquita Goings) storms out on Bill. After another tense conversation regarding Bill and his ex-family, the Duprees, Hayley reminds Bill (Timon Kyle Durett) who his family is. It is not the Duprees anymore says Hayley, She is his family now. As we head to the closing of 2025, will this affect Hayley's plan for Bill, and how does Izaiah fit into all of this? Donnell (Alex Cheeks) returned to Banneker and his studies, but the young lad still had lots of questions and very few answers. In Tuesday's episode, Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) confesses the truth about her relationship with Doug to Donnell. This is going to be one of the most challenging conversations Vanessa has had to have with her son, but it won’t be the last. Will Donnell manage to put two and two together and figure out that Joey (Jon Lindstrom) was set to benefit from Doug's (ex Jason Graham) death, and that there is more than meets the eye?
