What to Expect on Beyond the Gates

After a repeat episode yesterday, we get right back into the fray. In Tuesday's episode, things turn ugly as Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) and Tomas (Alex Alegria) try to referee while Eva (Ambyr Michelle) and Kat go to war. Kat (Colby Muhammed) heard her half sister, as she likes to refer to Eva, call Ted ‘Dad’, and that set her off in a big way. It ended with Kat telling Ted, “Good luck with the one daughter you have left, as you can’t have both.” Kat then stormed off, Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) offered no help, and Ted (Keith D. Robinson) had to get back to work. The sparks are going to fly, and neither is going to back down here.

In Tuesday's episode, Hayley (Marquita Goings) sets her sights on an eligible bachelor. Izaiah (David Lami Friebe) is saying hi to Bill (Timon Kyle Durett) and catching up on old times when he is introduced to Hayley, the wife, not the niece, of Bill, best we make that distinction. Hayley then has an idea that sets her on the path of pursuing Izaiah, as she tells someone on the phone that she finds him both fit and fine.

It couldn't last forever, the peace in the Richardson house, and after finding Samantha (Najah Jackson) on the couch with her boyfriend, Nathan (Brennan Suttle), who was about to have sex, Martin (Brandon Claybon) and Smitty (Mike Manning) were appalled. Samantha lost her phone, iPad, and laptop, but now Martin has also taken it upon himself to punish Samantha further by quitting her job for her. In Tuesday's episode, Smitty and Martin clash over how best to parent the teens.

Since arriving in town, we have been learning more and more about Jacob's (Jibre Hordges) younger brother, Izaiah. In Tuesday's episode, Izaiah opens up about his difficult relationship with Elon (Malachi Malik). Having a Father who is the Chief of Police and two brothers who are on the force can be quite the thing to live up to and have yourself compared to. Bring on the history lesson!
