What to Expect on Beyond the Gates

Secrets are popping up everywhere. Beyond the Gates gives us more tomorrow! In Tuesday's episode, Jacob (Jibre Hordges) unearths a secret that Derek (Ben Gavin) wants to remain buried. Derek has always been quietly there, and he and Ashley (Jen Jacob) seemed like the perfect couple until they weren’t. Jacob has his hands full with the goings on in Fairmont Crest, and now his buddy is at the heart of yet another thing. Let’s hope it pales in comparison to what he suspects about Joey (Jon Lindstrom), Marcel (Darryl W. Handy), and his father.

Meanwhile, at the Brownstone

Tensions have been high at the Brownstone for some time now, and just when things are getting on an even footing, more drama is in the air. In Tuesday's episode, Martin's (Brandon Claybon) help to Samantha (Najah Jackson) infuriates Smitty (Mike Manning). This time, the argument is about the children's biological mother, June. (Jasmine Burke) Samantha wants to keep her in their lives, and Tyrell (Jaden Lucas Miller) is heavily against it. Being older, he remembers all the bad times os much more clearly and thinks he's protecting Samantha again by keeping June at arm's length. Caught in the middle of it all are Martin and Smitty, who have different views on handling this.

Time to face the truth

As new layers are peeled back, couples discover more than they would like to know, and in Tuesday's episode, a couple must face their new reality. Is it closing time for a relationship? Tomas (Alex Alegria) and Kat (Colby Muhammed) hit the rockiest patch they have faced together when Tomas’ romantic night backfired spectacularly.

Now that Joey knows that Doug is actively trying to bring him down and that he may use Randy (Maurice P. Kerry) against him, action must be taken. Sure, he promised Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) that Doug would be out of harm's way, but that was before he heard from Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett). In Tuesday's episode, Joey and Marcel hatch a mysterious plan. None of this bodes well for Doug or Randy.
