What to expect on Beyond the Gates
To protect his grandson, Vernon (Clifton Davis) needs to get out in front of this thing, this thing called Kenneth (Jason Vendryes). The man has returned, and whoever's job it was to keep Vernon in the loop failed miserably. In the Monday episode, Vernon and Bill (Timon Kyle Durett) have a tense showdown. Bill has repeatedly stated that he and Martin are on the same team, and everyone benefits if that is remembered. Bill went out on a limb again for the Duprees, and it will soon be revealed to what extent Bill was involved. Will Bill assist the Duprees again by choice, or will it be to save his own skin as well? The hottest storyline in Fairmont Crest is in for a great week.
Listening to Leslie
Detective Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) certainly has his hands full, Smitty's (Mike Manning) bombshell revelation that his partner really could be dirty and that his dad, the Chief of Police, could be in cahoots with him. A big house of cards could be ready to tumble. Jacob hasn’t forgotten about Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) either; nothing would please him more than to have everything needed to compile the most airtight case against her and remove her from the streets, but there may be a catch. In Monday's episode, Leslie has a bold proposition for Jacob and Kat (Colby Muhammed). Maybe Leslie has the proof that Kat tampered with a crime scene several times, and that if the case is dropped, she won't throw Kat under the bus. Or does Leslie know something about more recent matters? Either way, Leslie is out to protect Leslie and should never be counted out.

Eva (Ambyr Michelle) has been through a rough journey since her arrival in Faitmont Crest, and it only got worse once she realized her mother's true intentions, after getting kicked out of the house and having her only support network, her newly discovered father Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson), has been a ride. Eva is slowly rebuilding her life and has a new job offer as the assistant in her dad's medical office. In the Monday episode, Eva finds strength from an unlikely source. So far, she’s had words of wisdom from Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) and Laura (Destiny Love), two people she thought would never again speak to her, and another surprise source of strength is on the way.
