What to expect on Beyond the Gates

Dani (Karla Mosley) appears to still have concern for Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett). After Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) heard about Hayley (Marquita Goings) telling Bill she was pregnant and that he was going to be a father again, Chelsea informed her mom, and Dani was suspicious immediately. Is Hayley using pregnancy as entrapment? It certainly would be possible if you asked anyone else in Fairmont Crest. In Thursday's episode, Dani issues a warning to Bill regarding Hayley. Will Bill put aside this warning as no more than words of jealousy from his ex-wife?

Risky business

Doug (Jason Graham) has his back against the wall with Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom). Joey has made it quite clear that he wants Doug to talk to his wife, Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli), about using the realty business of hers to launder money, or he will do it for him. Doug is without options at this point and has already seen his wife quite cozy with Joey on a number of occasions. Gambling is what got Doug into this mess, will taking another gamble be his way out? In Thursday's episode, Doug takes a risk with Joey.

Amateur sleuth Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammed) won't give up until she has uncovered the evidence that Detective Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) needs to put either or both Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) and Eva (Ambyr Michelle) away behind bars. Jacob is equally driven to find justice for those who were behind the attack on Laura (Destiny Love). In Thursdays episode, Kat and Jacob uncover more about Laura’s attack. Can they close in on the suspects before the evidence they seek is gone for good?

As much as Kat and Jacob won’t give up, neither will Leslie, as she scrambles to stay ahead of the net being cast. Eva has noticed that her mom has some rather fanciful ideas about her relationship with Ted (Keith D. Robinson) and thinks her mom believes she can be with him again. Meanwhile, in Thursday's episode, Leslie tries to pull Ted back into her world. Wigs and personalities are things she readily has at her disposal. Still, Ted isn't interested in resurrecting a love story with Leslie, but Leslie isn't thinking right, and she’s not the kind of lady to take no for an answer.
