Next week, on Beyond the Gates, we have Andre (Sean Freeman) just stroll in the side door at Chelsea’s (RhonniRose Mantilla) house, calling out, “...show yourself, woman.” Kat (Colby Muhammed) and Chelsea are there collaborating on something together, and they both look up at the disturbance and query Andre with, “ Is there something you need to share, Andre?” Is he confused? Shouldn't he be looking for Dani? And why would he be there, of all places? The look of confusion written all over his face suggests he most definitely wasn't expecting Kat and Chelsea.

And speaking of Andre, amid post coital glow, he and Dani are in bed together sharing an intimate moment when out of nowhere the voice of her father, Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis), calls out from downstairs. Vernon calls out to his daughter, “Dani…sweetheart.” The shocked look on Dani’s face says it all as she exclaims, Daddy ?” What will happen from here? Is this where the patriarch of the Dupree family gets to meet Dani’s Mr Right …now? Will Andre do the sailor shuffle and be gone unnoticed? Or maybe Dani will head downstairs and find out why her father has paid an unannounced visit.

In a booth at Orphey Gene’s Detective Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) is sitting with Kat, and oh boy does he have some good news to share with her. All smiles, he tells Kat that the motorcycle helmet and gloves that they recovered from Leslie's (Trisha Mann-Grant) apartment are the same ones that the rider in the accident had. This is great news indeed, and Kat is super happy, she tells jacob that they are so close to putting that bitch away for good. No love lost there, and just how did they end up back in Leslie's apartment?

Also taking place at Orphey Gene’s, Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) is there with Vernon, but far from the happy scene before, Naomi is full of regret and tells Vernon that she is the reason he is in the hospital in the first place. She blames herself for the condition that has her father, Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durett), hospitalized. Before Vernon can dispense some wisdom, Naomi tells him it’s all her fault. It can’t be, but she blames it on the stress she has caused him.

Capping off the spoilers for next week on Beyond the Gates, the three remaining Articulettes are gathered at the Dupree mansion and are sitting on a couch together. Anita (Tamara Tunie) is all set to cancel the reunion, and Tracy (Maria Howell) is telling Anita that the love was real, the sisterhood was real, and it’s still here. All they have to do is reclaim it. Sharon (Bonita Brisker) looks most unsure, and Anita, well, time will tell if she has heard enough to make her reconsider binning the reunion concert.
