DAYS, Y&R star launches celebrity-approved skincare line

Denice Duff (ex-Wendy Taylor, Days of our Lives; ex-Amanda Browning, The Young and the Restless) has launched a 100% natural skincare line called In Your Face that is celebrity approved. Fans include Jenna Elfman, Rebecca Minkoff, Kevin Spirtas (ex-Dr. Craig Wesley, DAYS), and more.

Soap opera alum and professional photographer Denice Duff (ex-Wendy Taylor, Days of our Lives; ex-Amanda Browning, The Young and the Restless) has entered the skincare business with a new line of 100% natural products called In Your Face.

All of the products are free of parabens, toxins, artificial fragrances, phthalates, sulfates, GMOs, and dyes -- which Duff says was inspired by a mix of her family's history and working on shows like DAYS and Y&R.

"My great-grandmother had dewy smooth skin up into her 90s!" the actress/photographer shares on the In Your Face website. "She ate whole foods and used natural ingredients on her skin. 'Healthy inside gives you healthy outside' she'd say. There was always a little jar of olive oil in the medicine cabinet to be used as a makeup remover, facial moisturizer, and body lotion. She used lemon juice for my acne and for her dark spots."

She continues, "As I grew up and lived on my own I became an actress, and the idea of paying half of my paycheck for a little designer face cream that was filled with mostly chemical fillers just didn't make sense. But working in front of the camera demanded great skin care. I would get great D.I.Y. tips from top Hollywood makeup artists and Beverly Hills dermatologists. So I continued my family's tradition and started making my own facial elixirs in my kitchen from crushed herbs, teas, oils, even fermenting my own fruits!"

Over time, that never-ending passion led Duff to create In Your Face, which is made up of products that are supercharged, toxin-free, and botanically rich-- all of which helps to hydrate and nourish the skin as well as fight off free radicals and signs of aging.

Several celebrities have raved about Duff's In Your Face line: actress Jenna Elfman says Duff nailed it with her moisturizing cream, and she's "obsessed"; fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff says it has given her back her "glow"; and actor Kevin Spirtas (ex-Dr. Craig Wesley, DAYS) says the In Your Face cream is his "go-to for day cream, night cream, dryness, and razor rash," and he even uses it "as a makeup remover after a day of thick stage makeup."

"Good skin comes from eating plenty of veggies, avoiding processed foods, drinking more water (which is boring for me but I force it), naps if possible, and having people in your life who encourage your dreams!" she shares. "Consume less. Walk more. Let go of the past. Sever unhealthy relationships, drink green tea. Eat raw veggies, sweat every day, shut off the TV, plan a trip, help someone, sleep in darkness, smile at strangers... and use In Your Face cream!"
