It's a great treat to see Jess Walton back as Jill Foster Abbott on The Young and the Restless. The two-time Daytime Emmy-winner brings history, gravitas, and more to every scene she's in. If the character ends up sticking around, which we hope she does, she's going to need a place to live.
The Young and the Restless, Abbott elementary

We usually see the back of Jill's home when she does her video calls on The Young and the Restless. It's hard to get a feel for Jill's abode when she makes these calls, but we know the woman has taste, so her residence is likely tastefully decorated.
Now that Jill's back in Genoa City, she's going to need a place to sleep. Where's she likely going to check in? There are quite a few options. For starters, Jack could open up the newly decorated Abbott mansion to Jill. During her two marriages to John, she was the matriarch of the manor. She knows where things are. If Jack wants to keep Jill as an ally, he'll likely want her nearby. Jack pointed out that Jill cared about the late John Abbott (Jerry Douglas), and Diane (Susan Walters), Jack's current wife, hinted at Jack's own personal past with Jill.
There are other places Jill could check into while she's in town. There's the Genoa City Athletic Club, which Cane (Billy Flynn) was said to be the new owner of. Cane could also offer Jill a suite on his train. The Grand Phoenix is probably still around, even though Phyllis got rid of it a while ago.
Mansion, again, naturally

But there's really only one place Jill belongs -- and that's in the Chancellor mansion. A judge ruled years ago that Jill and the late Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) were co-owners of the mansion. Kay left half of the house to Esther (Kate Linder) in her will, but Jill still owns the other half.
Y&R has shown a lot of love to the Abbott mansion and the Newman ranch, giving a fabulous makeover to the former and new life to the latter. Why not go for a hat trick and revive the long-running Chancellor estate set? We can envision Jill walking in there and playing all the rich history as she looks around the place she has called home.
