And the winner is The Bold and the Beautiful's Lisa Yamada
Lisa Yamada wow'd us all as The Bold and the Beautiful's Luna Nozawa, taking her from a sweet and innocent intern to a crazed killer who just wanted a normal family. It turned out her innocent act was just that. Luna has had quite a 2025 so far, as she was pardoned and released from prison, held more people hostage, shot a few people, got shot herself, came back from the dead, and then became pregnant before being sent back to jail. Luna has done and seen it all in a very short period of time.
In her acceptance speech, Yamada thanked co-star Don Diamont, who plays Luna's sometimes benefactor, Bill Spencer. She was in tears as she thanked her parents, whom she called "Mommy and Daddy," for supporting her in her dream of becoming an actress. She also thanked Christian Weissmann, her best friend, who plays Luna's only friend, Remy Price. Weissmann was nominated in the same category.
Yamada is the first person to win this award in the first year it has been presented.
