The Young and the Restless alum Sabryn Genet played Tricia Dennison back in the early 2000s. Tricia has a past with Matt Clark, and now that he's back on the scene, the actress has been getting inquiries via social media as to how the show might bring Tricia back to the story canvas!
The Young and the Restless, Dennison's descent

Originally introduced as a young heroine, Tricia Dennison fell for Jabot executive Ryan McNeil (Scott Reeves) after he'd split from Nina (Tricia Cast). The two married, but the honeymoon was over when Tricia stopped taking her birth control pills, hoping a child would secure her future with Ryan.
After Tricia miscarried, she set out to destroy her sister Megan (Ashley Jones; now, Bridget on The Bold and the Beautiful) and her relationship with Tony Viscardi (Jay Bontatibus). She ran Tony down in Megan's driveway, accidentally killing him.
She moved to London with her dad, Keith (Granville Van Dusen; David Allen Brooks), but returned several months later and got into more trouble. Matt (then, Ric Hearst; now, Roger Howarth) had had plastic surgery and was going by the handle Carter Mills. Tricia drove the car that she was driving off a cliff, hoping to kill her passenger -- Matt!
A hospitalized Matt died when he ripped medical tubes out of his body, hoping to frame Nick for his "murder." Next, Tricia donned an identical wedding gown to the one Victoria (then, Heather Tom; now, Amelia Heinle) wore on her wedding day to Ryan. Tricia shot and killed Ryan, who died protecting Victoria. Tricia was institutionalized.
Tricia's comeback

"Hi, guys," Genet began a video posted in her Instagram stories. "OK, so here's the thing, cause I've already got about 20 messages from different people... Yes, a lot of you told me that Matt Clark was back. And to be honest, I didn't even remember how he died, and then, in France, a super fan messaged me.
"He said that [Tricia] drove him off a cliff," Genet shares. "Neither one of us died, obviously, and then he pulled out the tube from his throat or his mouth [when he was in] the hospital and killed himself.
"You know, people on soaps come back from the dead all the time," she says, "and I know that [Roger Howarth] is a good actor because I remember years ago when I was young, watching him on a New York soap, and he was a really good bad guy." (The actress is likely referring to Howarth's Daytime Emmy-winning run as Todd Manning on One Life to Live.)
As for Tricia returning to The Young and the Restless, Genet has a few thoughts on the possibility. "I hope that Tricia stays in the loony bin forever, to tell you the truth," the actress offers. "She's fine there. Let her live and let her be in there. But if she escaped or got out and they were going to bring her back, of course, I wish they would ask me first."
