The Young and the Restless: Get ready to relive Danny and Cricket's first wedding

Fans of The Young and the Restless are gearing up for Danny and Cricket's wedding coming up on Friday, November 21. The big day will carry into the next episode on Monday, November 24. Viewers who have always wanted to see the duo's original ceremony, which aired 35 years ago, are going to have their wish come true, too!

There's been no official announcement yet, but Lauralee Bell's (Cricket) Instagram stories shared a post that says that Danny and Cricket's first wedding will air on Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, November 27, 2025.

"Sweeeet!!!! And so you guys can be the first to know, the Thanksgiving episode will be Danny & Cricket's 1st wedding! This is a perfect reminder of all the sweetness that took place 🥰," Bell confirmed on the @danny_cricket_fan Instagram account.

When Danny and Cricket were getting married the first time, a lot was going on back in Genoa City! Victor (Eric Braeden) and Ashley (then Brenda Epperson) were having problems in their marriage, as were Jack (Peter Bergman) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) in theirs.

But it was all sunshine and happiness on The Young and the Restless in Hawaii, where Danny and Cricket were tying the knot. Rex (Quinn Redeker) complimented his son, Danny, on having his wedding, taking place in Hawaii, a beautiful locale. Danny told his dad that he learned a lot from him -- like never giving up on his dreams! Danny had wished that his mother could have been there on his big day.

You'll never forget your first time

Meanwhile, Nina (Tricia Cast) and Gina (Patty Weaver), both of whom are returning for the second wedding, were helping the bride get ready. Cricket revealed that her brother Scott (Peter Barton) wanted to spend time with her. Cricket shared that life would be perfect once she married Danny.

Leanna Love (Barbara Crampton) fretted that she had nothing to wear to the ceremony. Rex inquired with the airlines to see if there was an update on Leanna's missing luggage. Red offered to buy Leanna a new dress, but she wanted to wear the one that she'd already chosen.

Just before the ceremony began, Scott joked to his sister that she still had time to back out of the whole thing. Cricket lamented that her late mother, Jessica (Rebecca Street), was unable to be with her on her special day with Danny.
