Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:
What happened on The Young and the Restless

It's a good thing that Matt (Roger Howarth) took a seat on Sharon's (Sharon Case) hotel room sofa on The Young and the Restless -- because the man doesn't have a leg to stand on! Matt barged his way into Sharon's room to inform her that he wanted her to call Nick (Joshua Morrow) so that they could all have a chat about how they're going to save Noah (Lucas Adams). Sharon blasted Matt for his past crimes, which include raping her. Matt shot back that Noah has been having an affair with his wife, Sienna (Tamra Braun), and that justifies his anger. Well, on one hand, yes, adultery is wrong. Matt -- or Mitch -- is justified in being furious. Also, he's plain wrong if he thinks that gives him the right to run Noah off the road and kidnap him! We're talking Wisconsin apples and California oranges. Matt can divorce Sienna and sue Nick for alienation of affection. But he does not have the right to try to kill Noah and kidnap him! Nick's meeting with the police -- Det. Burrow (Matt Cohen) and newcomer Det. Annie Stewart (Catherine Kresge) -- has us thinking there's more to the story. But nothing, repeat, nothing explains away Matt's abusive past. There's more to come with this story, but no one is feeling sorry for Matt that his wife wanted to get away from him!
