The pair began dating five years ago. They share a son, Bridger, who turns 2 next month. The 35-year-old actress of The Young and the Restless wed voice actor Brock Powell at the Columns Hotel in New Orleans on Saturday, Nov. 8. The "intimate" celebration featured a local pianist, vibrant street parade, and tarot card reader."Travel is very important to both of us," the happy couple told PEOPLE. They wanted friends and family to feel as if they were going on an adventure with them. Wedding guests had a few days to explore New Orleans, eat incredible food, and take in all the sights! The reception, in a sense, offered a way to thank attendees for making the journey. There were about 75 guests in total, including Grimes's uncle, actor Scott Grimes (ER), Hayley Erin (Claire), and Robert Palmer Watkins (ex-Dillon, General Hospital). New Orleans isn't just a popular market for Y&R, but it's also "the intersection of a lot of different passions and loves," the bride and groom say. Therefore, the ceremony incorporated a Celtic ritual in which the duo's hands were tied together, which gave birth to the expression "tying the knot."
