The Young and the Restless star Christian LeBlanc has a special holiday message to share with Y&R fans

The Young and the Restless star Christian LeBlanc is continuing a holiday tradition. Last month, we invited social media followers along with him as he strolled through New Orleans in anticipation of the Thanksgiving holiday. Now, the actor is giving a repeat performance in honor of Christmas and the New Year holidays. Read on to hear what he has to say!

The Young and the Restless, the true meaning of the holidays

“Good morning, everybody,” LeBlanc, who plays Michael Baldwin, began as he walked his dogs in New Orleans in the early morning hours. “Merry Christmas. I'm walking my ‘bosses,’ referring to his two pooches. The actor noted he was walking near the Coven House, which was seen in American Horror Story.

“It’s a gorgeous morning,” the actor continued. “It's kind of foggy.” The actor also noted he wasn’t far from novelist Anne Rice’s (Interview With a Vampire) home. “I just love this time of morning. I wanted to take this quiet and slightly foggy opportunity to say, ‘Merry Christmas and happy, happy New Year.’”

LeBlanc says he’s happy to be in New Orleans. especially because it’s where his two dogs reside, and so he can’t spend time with them when he’s in Los Angeles shooting scenes for Y&R. “It’s been so quiet this holiday,” he says. A history buff, LeBlanc says that New Orleans has the largest intact Victorian neighborhood in the country. After saying hello to some of his followers, LeBlanc shared that he was looking forward to seeing his sister, sister-in-law, and brother a little later in the day.

“That’s kind of my favorite thing about the holidays,” he says, adding it’s a time where you get to take a breath, and remember that you have loved ones with whom you can share how you feel.

LeBlanc reminded his followers that he’s on Cameo if anyone is looking for him to give them a personal message, and his art will be available on his website. “People [have] asked…my art store will be opened after I get back to Los Angeles. I close it when I leave town, but I mailed out all the prints and art pieces [which had been ordered]. I hope you guys got [them] in time and enjoy them, and thank you for ordering them.
