Her character Amy went into remission after a cancer bout, but she tragically lost her son, Damian (Jermaine Rivers), after he was killed while visiting Cane's (Billy Flynn) chateau in Nice, France. At Danny's (Michael Damian) and Cricket's (Lauralee Bell) wedding, Amy blasted Cane for his role in her son's death. However, on Thanksgiving, Amy showed Cane some grace and told him he could stay and assist Esther (Kate Linder) at Crimson Lights with a holiday meal for the needy.
